Which Foods are the Best?

I thought I had a pretty good knowledge of which foods were healthy - but I decided to look into it anyway. I was surprised with what I learned. We all know that vegetables are healthy, but certain vegetables contain far more antioxidants than others. Antioxidants (as you may know) are substances in plants that help the body make repairs. eating lots of them helps keep your body in good shape and may prevent heart disease and some types of cancer.

What I learned was that beans are really good for you. I knew that they are a healthy source of protein, but I had never thought about the antioxidant levels in beans. I had no idea that a half a cup of ried red beans has more antioxidants than blueberries. Look for more surprises:
