Anti-Aging Properties of Walnuts - Walnuts and Longevity

Wednesday April 2, 2008
Longevity foods is going to be the theme here for the next week or so. Look for articles and information about foods that are healthy, delicious and anti-aging. We are going to start with walnuts.

Why Walnuts? Walnuts contain omega-3 essential fatty acids. This is exactly the same "good stuff" that is in salmon and fish. The good news is that (unlike fish) walnuts are inexpensive, require no preparation and do not run the risk of mercury contamination. Just eat a handful before lunch and before dinner and you'll be reducing your bad cholesterol and help your brain out too.
