Is It Worth the Cortisol?

In his great book The French Don't Diet Plan, neurophysiologist Will Clower encourages readers facing stressful situations to ask themselves if the situation is "worth the cortisol".  It's a great reminder that while we may not be able to control what happens to us, we surely have some control over how we react.

We'd do well to heed Clower's advice. Cortisol is a stress hormone that can shorten your life when too much of it is produced in your body over a prolonged period of time.  Fortunately, many stress-reduction strategies like regular mindfulness meditation and taking steps to improve your sleep help keep your cortisol levels lower, too.

Give them a try and next time life is making you frantic, ask yourself, is it worth the cortisol?

I have performed this diet plan about 4 occasions previously and each time it has worked incredible! Tried lots of other diets with no luck but now I am on day 5 of my new diet and currently lost 12 pounds! Very first couple of days are a little tough to stick to but by day two you are going to really feel astounding, and by day 11 you will be 15 pounds lighter. – http://www.reviewsalert.com/the-fat-burning-furnace-review
