Diastolic Blood Pressure

Definition: The pressure on the walls of the arteries between pumps of the heart. Diastolic blood pressure is measured in millimeters of mercury (mm Hg). The diastolic blood pressure is reported as the second or 'bottom' number in blood pressure measurement.
