Brain Ageing

I do crosswords in the daily press not the known difficult ones. I don't worry about what I cant answer, just check with the following days answers that way words I tend to forget or not use are back in my brain activity. I also watch a lot of quick programmes on TV fairly serious ones. I prefer my own nonsene to other peoples.

Brain Fitness Training Software

There are clinically proven brain fitness training software programs available that can do wonders for the aging brain. Check out www.positscience.com, which comes out of the lab of Dr. Michael Merzenich at the University of California at San Francisco. I know how rigorous their scientific design and testing is...I work there!

Are we there yet?

I look around my surroundings for challenges that are compatible with my background. It is important that I find tests of skills and of course, laughter is the rarest medicine.

longevitity

I never seem to think. I only know what I think when I say something about an idea. I want to learn how to think. I talke, in my head, to myself. I've been doing this for 69 years. Is this thinking? I also ruminate but I don't think that is thinking. How do you folks think?

Writing, reading, learning new things.

I am currently engrossed in an Oxford online Creative Writing course, and also learning Spanish (the latter out of necessity for visiting Spanish in-laws with no English!) I swim and sauna twice weekly. Keep your mind and body happy with activities you really enjoy!

Brain Fitness

My name is Dr. Boonlert Saisanit, 74 years of age. I love my brain very much, because my brain is the house of my mind, so I take care of my brain as well as my life if the house of my mind is destroyed, I cannot live well and healthy any longer or whenever the mind leave the brain we must die, we must read, write and think positively at all time.

Brain Fitness

I have been working in the brain fitness space since 2001 and we have come along way. There has been significant scientific studies over the last 5 years that illustrate how we can maintain and develop our cognitive skills through our lifespan. Our company has started to launch pilots that provide more efficacy to our software. I truly believe the next 5 years will see a lot of positive developments in this area. www.fitbrains.com

Brain Games

not sure if the brain games work . Ihave tried different site likes lumuosity, fitbrains and even played BA2. They have all cool games but still not sure if they work..they do have good games(so the verdict is till out on whether they really work). I do agree with tips to keep your brain fit

Writing

My favorite activity for brain fitness is writing. I write here about Longevity, but I write everywhere and about everything. Having to form thoughts into sentence and communicate them to others is great brain exercise.
