World's Oldest Person Dies

The world's oldest person - Yone Minagawa - died Monday at the age of 114 according to Kyodo News in Japan.
Yone Minagawa was born on January 4, 1893. She was a widow who raised her 5 children by selling flowers in a coal mining town.
According to earlier interviews, Yone claimed that her longevity was due to getting plenty of sleep and eating well. She said that her hobby was sleeping.
Edna Parker, age 114, from Indiana is now the oldest living person.
