Do Hands reveal Your True Age?

Tuesday November 4, 2008
Hands are becoming the next big anti-aging focus, according to a recent New York Times article. First, people focused on making their faces look younger through botox and face lifts. But their hands still showed their real age. Now, procedures have been invented that can remove age spots and make hands look years younger.

Is all this just getting out of control? Plastic surgery and botox for your hands? Or is this a revolution in the amount of control people have on their own aging?

Personally, I think it is better to help prevent the signs of aging in the first plave. A bit of sunscreen on your hands everyday can do wonders to reduce the signs of sun damage (a major source of age-related spots on the skin). So instead of waiting to pay doctors thousands of dollars for treatment, you applie a couple cents worth of sunscreen and prevent those signs of aging in the first place.
